The Oracle Cloud system will be updated on a fixed schedule, largely set by Oracle. Quarterly releases may affect functionality and will be tested, both by an automated testing tool which will reduce the burden on the human factor, and by the DASH team. To minimize disruptions, testing will be performed in a test system before being applied to the production system. In addition, smaller patch updates may be released monthly. While as many scenarios as possible will be tested, just as with on-premise systems, it is likely that campus users will discover changes to the system after updates are applied.
