Firewall/VPN requests
By default, all wired network ports restrict access to a single device (defined as a unique MAC address, a.k.a. Ethernet address). If you have a situation that requires the use of multiple MAC addresses behind a single network port, use this form to request an exemption from this policy and describe the reason(s) for your request.

OIT provides server space to faculty, staff, and students for personal or organizational web hosting and online storage. This includes:
- Linux-based web hosting
- OIT-Supported WordPress
- SharePoint Online and Campus Intranet
- Vanity URLs / Virtual Host (Example: [sitename].utk.edu or [sitename].tennessee.edu)
- MySQL Databases
Data management, analytics, reporting, data central, campus data warehouse, data cookbook, Argos, SAS Business Intelligence.
Software requests must be received by the following dates in order to be installed in the computing labs for each semester:
Spring Semester | November 1 of previous year
Summer Semester | April 1
Fall Semester | June 1
Requests received after these deadlines will be deployed in the following semester.
Patches, plugins & updates to existing software will be deployed as possible.
